Off to the Ball Game

Of to the city this morning to search for Lois's glass bowl. Caught the elevated into the city and back out again. Not intentionally just didn't understand how the rail works. Ended up further away than we started.

Any way found Macey's  but though they had the bowls had none in stock worse luck. Then off to the Ball Game just as a huge thunderstorm struck

After the rain a good crowd packed into Wrigley field to watch the Astros. A small ground with charm and character. We sat in the bleachers and had a pretty good view of the game.

By the way the Cubs won 4 - 0 in a pretty lacklustre game, where the Astros offence didn't give a yelp. Also  the cubs starter pitcher denied a complete game at the death after 8 and 1/3 innings!
