Night Game

Went to the game last night for the second game of the series against the Angels. Hoped for a better game than the previous night where the pitching of Weaver simply over powered our bats.

A view of the giant scoreboard as seen  from our seats is to the left. It has everything that you'd want to see on a board.

Another shot of the Screen taken before the game.

A couple of shots taken during the introductions and the playing of the anthem.

The game itself was very good with the Indians dominating early until an error cost them the lead where  it became if the Angels or the weather would come out the victor. Luckily we were leading 7 - 5 when the weather did intervene and the covers were put on pretty quickly.   The question now became do we stop and wait out the weather or go? The locals differed on their thoughts as to the games continuance so we chose to leave and not wait. Obviously the wrong choice for the game was restarted, about 1 hour later and the Indians won 9 - 5. The fireworks show followed the game and we got to see that from our hotel room.

Today is the glorious 4th and a public holiday. Another very hot day beckons and the game has a 4.05 pm start. Its a bobblehead day for the first 15,000 spectators.
